Staff was accomodating.
For an international chain their wireless internet in rooms was shockingly inaddequate in order to use the internet u had to be in the lobby. In our rooms it was hard to connect and you would get disconnected and the speed was shockingly slow as well. One would think they could spend more on a real wifi server. .
I picked this hotel because it had good reviews, a reasonable price, and a central location in Krakow. My room was very simply furnished (one chair, small tv), but clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
The hotel staff is very proffesional and kind. They gave us a lot of information we needed. That was the first and very good impression.
Location is just perfect - 5 minutes from central station and 3 minutes to city square
Hotel stuff was polite, but not so willing to help
Cleanliness, Location, edequite funtional furniture, Daily change of towels. Staff, Value for money.
The air- conditioner is not self- controlled.
The hotel is very basic but with a good value for money
The breakfast is not that good and sometime peolpe from the staff has been quite tough.
The central location, the buffet breakfast and the helpful staff
The location and the rate is hard to beat. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town of Cracow. The rooms are simple but comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities.
Unfortunately the overal cleaniness has deteriorated since the last time we stayed at this hotel (2009). E.G. spiderweb in the bathroom, stained towels.
it is convenient for us as we travel often to the south east of poland- it is a good place to stay with children and convenient.
they were totally unprepared for our stay in terms of pre-arranged cots and children's bedding. we stayed 2 nights at the start and end of our holiday and on neither occasion had they put cots in the room...very important when travelling with small children. I had asked for confirmation weeks ago and was told this information had been passed on. also there was 2 small children in our party but only 1 high chair...this made breakfast time very difficult.
Great location (Old City, Shopping center, Railway station etc.) Free baby cot Everyday cleaning Tea, coffee in the room
Very expensive breakfast 35 PLN/person
It was an attractive hotel in an excellent location, with friendly staff who spoke English, free wi-fi, and very affordable cost.
The only negative is that the room was climate-controlled and I had no way of adjusting the temperature, I was a little cold.
This hotel was excellent value for money, the staff were incredibley good and helped out in whatever way they could. We had the breakfast once, but only because of arranged day trips, it was fantastic value for money and I would highly recommend the breakfast to anyone who is considering booking this hotel. It is not a lavish hotel but it is one of the most central hotels with a two or three minute walk to the main market square. It is close to the main road whereby you can catch a tram or a bus to anywhere you want to go but booking offices (in particular Crakow City Tours) is a few minutes walk away to arrange day trips. The rooms are basic with tea / coffee making facilities, shower and bath and a tv, everything you need except a hairdryer. I am already negotiating with my employer for time off to come back in January to stay at Campanile for a few days, I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, including families.
To be incredibly picky - and this is really pulling at straws - the only criticism I would have is that there is no bath rail to help pull yourself out, I am thinking about elderly people who might book this hotel but I believe there are rooms with showers only so it would be something to consider when booking. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.
Excellent location and rooms were nice
Complimentary coffee and tea in the room, comfortable bedspread, spacious room.
Almost only polish channels, afew english speaking channels would be better, wifi did not work in room only in lobby, extra handtowel for washing hands would have been handy, too much waiting for elevator
nice old town, lots of life in the square with many events, easy to walk around; hotel was great - superb location which was close to the action and transport but also quiet. we asked for a quiet room and it was great.
no hassles at all. the breakfast was very expensive. an additional local tax should be mentioned in the Booked.net site.
